Sanjeev Kadagathur Vadiraj is a highly skilled graduate student at the University of Southern California with a passion for data science and big data analytics. With nearly five years of relevant experience in the field, Sanjeev is actively seeking full-time opportunities from December 2022. Currently interning as a software engineer at Mathworks, Sanjeev has a strong background in deep learning and is experienced in working with large datasets. He is particularly interested in the potential of making machines smarter and enabling data to speak to us. Sanjeev's love for solving puzzles and math is reflected in his work, and he finds joy in working with data, which he considers the biggest and most comprehensive puzzle. Prior to his current position, Sanjeev worked as a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Science and as a graduate student at the University of Southern California. In his role as a course producer and grader for Analysis of Algorithms at USC, he was responsible for designing homework and exams, hosting review sessions, and evaluating homework and projects. Sanjeev also worked on a project with the Center for Knowledge-Powered Interdisciplinary Data Science (CKIDS) to help clinicians find the most relevant clinical trials using knowledge graphs. Sanjeev holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He is skilled in software engineering, deep learning, data science, big data, and research science. With his expertise and experience, Sanjeev is well-equipped to take on new challenges in the field of data science and make a valuable contribution to any organization he works with.
